Distance Education about Life-long Learning

DEALL is a project funded by the European Community as part of its Socrates-Grundtvig Programme. The DEALL partnership consists of ten institutions from five countries.

The project will improve the quality of adult education in Europe by enhancing the knowledge and competence of course producers, teachers, managers and other staff in adult education, lifelong learning and distance learning. This is being achieved through a new e-learning course aimed at developing their professional and creative skills in this complex field. The course fosters not only academic skills but also the role of leadership in achieving educational as well as financial and other objectives in what is now a competitive global industry. It also recognises the need for strategic and creative thinking in order to translate a vision into effective policies.
