The project has led to the production of original study materials covering 11 topics forming a distance education course for staff of adult education institutions.

- Student guide outlines the structure of the DEALL course as a whole and introduces the e-learning system.
M01/UK Gerald Dunning: Independent Study for Lifelong Learning
- This module is designed to develop students as reflective learners who can sift information, evaluate sources of information and select and report on complex areas of learning. It provides a range of tools and techniques designed to support learners in developing autonomy over their own learning, and the ability to direct their own studies. The module will also be of value to those who support the development of such self-activating learners, both through reflection on their own performance, and as a source of useful materials.
M02/CZ Helena Zlamalova: Distance Leaning Technology for Adult Education
- This module is devoted to general as well as particular aspects of adult education. It explains the fundamental terms, psychological- pedagogical aspects and deals with the possibility of using the modern technologies in this area. The module also covers the basic ODL principles and provides a comparison with the traditional learning methods. Furthermore the module describes in more detail the role of the ODL tutor and methods of assessment and evaluation in distance learning for adult learners.
M03/CZ Eva Dvorakova: Methods, Materials and Media in Distance Learning
- The module is mainly designated for authors of distance study materials and it is focused on distance and study texts and their specifics taking in consideration both distance form of studies and media, through which the study texts are available.
M04/AT Renate Mahringer: New Challenges for Trainers – The Use of New Technology in Training
- Module creates an awareness towards the new challenges and requirements of e-learning for the trainer. Adequate skills and competence and a profound knowledge of new media applied in training and education are essential for good-practice online tutoring and training.
M05/UK Martin Counihan: Internet Technology and Lifelong Learning
- Introduces internet technology and its application in the context of lifelong learning and outreach; provides insight into the variety of e-learning systems now available; and explores current developments and strategies for the future.
M06/UK David Turner: Reflecting on Practice in Lifelong Learning
- This module introduces the students to the idea of developing a portfolio of evidence supporting a claim that they have the capability to support learning in lifelong learners. The module introduces the basic concepts and tools for building a portfolio, including reflective diaries, professional teaching logs, etc. It then addresses resources that can be used in developing various aspects of learning support, assessment, record keeping and evaluation.
M07/FI Maj-Lis Laykki, Irru Jyske: Marketing of Lifelong Learning Organisation
- The module introduces a model of marketing for a Lifelong Learning Organisation. It provides a basic overview of marketing and also gives a practical toolbook for marketers. Special attention has been paid to the challenges and requirements for the function of marketing in education.
M08/UK Patricia Worgan: EU Policy for the Education and Training of Adults
- Introduces EU policy and the implication of such policy for the education and training of adults; it explores different models of implementation within member states and provides a framework for the analysis of education and training within the changing structures and policies of the European Union.
M09/CZ Frantisek Freiberg: Financial Management Techniques for Lifelong Learning Institutions
- The primary objective of this module is to explain budgeting tools, procedures and principles. In the core of the lectures is operating budgeting, cash budgeting and evaluation of investments into e-learning study programmes. The module is intended mainly for people dealing with, or in charge of planning, organising, implementation and financial control of continue education programmes and all those who want to learn financial management techniques and tools for educational programmes.
M10/ES Author? : Quality in E-learning
- Distance Lifelong learning cannot escape from the challenge of quality. How should quality be implemented and detected within the specific actions of distance lifelong learning? Against which criteria should the products or services be measured? How can we guarantee quality in a training process?. This module is not meant to be a regulation but a guide for the trainer and trainee in their personal pursue and judgement of quality in the services and products provided in Distance Lifelong Learning.

- Module provides a basic overview of guidance activities that may be provided by educational institutions as a part of or addition to their activities. Special attention is paid to methods and procedures of educational guidance for adults.
